Please see
the new contact information provided below. I provide patent law
services including patent drafting, domestic and foreign patent
prosecution, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, litigation
support, and strategic counseling, at about half the hourly rate charged
by local law firms.
I started Hayden Stone PLLC in
September of 2006 for two reasons - to cut my billing rate to the client
from the inflated rates charged by law firms, and to be
able to provide services to clients that I could not get past conflicts
at the law firm. I am admitted in Texas, the District of
Columbia, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
I have degrees in Law (J.D. from the U. of Houston
Law Center, cum laude), in Chemical Engineering (B.S. from the U. of
Houston, magna cum laude), and in Chemistry (B.S. from the U. of
Illinois). I spent 15 years in research and 16 years as a patent
attorney. I had previously worked at several large law firms: Arnold White & Durkee, Pennie & Edmonds, and Morgan Lewis & Bockius.
I
would be happy to receive an inquiry from you. However, I cannot agree
to represent you until determining that there are no conflicts with
existing clients. Accordingly, in an initial inquiry please do not
provide any information that is confidential. That said, you can reach
me by email at chayden@haydenstonepllc.com, by phone at 703-615-2163, or
by regular mail at Hayden Stone PLLC, 104 E. Nelson Ave.,
Alexandria VA 22301.
